Plein-air Outdoor Workshop with Karen Burnett and the Georgia Coastal Artists Guild
Saturday, November 11 • 9am-2pm
Cooper's Point Clubhouse at Shellman Bluff
$45 members | $55 regular price

Have you ever wanted to capture our coast's signature salt marsh in art? Now's your chance to learn how or improve your skills! Artist Karen Burnett, alongside other painters from the Georgia Coastal Artists Guild, will lead a plein-air outdoor painting workshop. They will provide demonstrations and 1:1 personal teaching instruction on how to paint a coastal landscape. One Hundred Miles will provide drinks and light snacks, along with one basic canvas per person and basic art supplies. Participants should bring their own bagged lunches and any additional canvasses or special painting supplies they wish.

Karen Burnett, local artist of fine oil painting and commissioned portraits, was born and raised in Savannah where she attended Telfair's art academy. She now lives on Eagle Neck Island in McIntosh County. After retiring from a 32-year career with Delta Airlines as an international flight attendant, Karen continues her love of painting by teaching fine art classes at her studio and gallery in Shellman Bluff.
